Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. There was no significant change in the dry mood of the valley which has been going on for a long time and on Wednesday also its mood remained dry. Although the sky remained cloudy in most of the areas including Srinagar till noon, however, after noon these areas also witnessed sunshine.

However, even today the cold wave continued with the minimum temperature remaining below the freezing point at most places in the valley. Here, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather pattern in the valley will remain dry during the next 24 hours.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the month of February till now, the weather patterns in the valley have generally remained dry and the 20-day long Chillekhurd that started at the beginning of this month also did not show any wonders.

Chilekhurd will end in dry season

Meanwhile, the weather remained dry and now this Chilekhurd will end on February 20 amid the dry season, while the 10-day Chilebaich starting on February 21 will also start its innings amid the dry season, while it will also conclude amid the dry season.

Because the Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be no significant change in the weather of the valley till the end of the month and the weather will remain dry in the meantime.

According to the department, today the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.4 in Srinagar, 1.6 in Qazigund, -2.1 in Pahalgam, -1.2 in Kupwara, 3.0 in Kukarnag, -1.6 in Gulmarg, 1.4 in Kulgam, -0.1 in Baramulla and -1.4 degree Celsius in Shopian.
