In such a situation, the terrorist who was infiltrating from the border under the cover of darkness was caught. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Abdul Khaliq.
Enemies' big conspiracy failed
The Border Security Force has foiled a major conspiracy of the country's enemies by arresting a terrorist who was infiltrating to commit a major crime. Khaliq, a resident of Darhal in Rajouri district, is suspected to be associated with terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. According to officials, Khaliq Ghulam had gone to Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2021.
Now he was returning to incite terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. As soon as Khaliq entered the Indian border under the cover of darkness on Friday morning, alert soldiers caught him.
Khaliq has been handed over to Jammu and Kashmir Police for further action. One MP5 rifle, one magazine, one empty drum magazine with 10 bullets were also recovered from Khaliq. Police is interrogating the captured terrorist.
Conspiracy to infiltrate a large group of Jaish terrorists
According to sources, the Border Security Force had received input about suspicious activities of Jaish-e-Mohammed across the border two days ago. After this the border guards had increased the level of vigilance. The input was that Jaish was planning to infiltrate a large group of terrorists.
After this, border security arrangements were made more robust. The Border Security Force has received concrete information about terrorist launch pads being active in Pakistani territory across the border.
Meanwhile, intelligence agencies have warned that Pakistan has activated more than 70 terrorist launchpads across the International Border and LoC. There are reports of 12 launchpads active in Sialkot and Zafarwal areas and about 60 launchpads across the LoC in Jammu division.
Strategy to foil the plans of terrorists
In such a situation, the Army, Border Security Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police are working on a strategy to foil the plans of terrorists with better coordination.
In this regard, several meetings have been held between officials of the army, security forces and intelligence agencies. At present, along with expediting the search operations on the border, cooperation is also being sought from the border residents to further strengthen the security grid.
