Jagran correspondent, Jhajjar. A young man resident of Salhawas lost his life in a road accident on Sunday night on Dhakla-Kasni road of the area. The accident happened when a Nilgai suddenly appeared in front of the car. The car went out of control and overturned in the swamp on the roadside, due to which the car rider Vikas alias Vicky (27) died due to drowning and injuries.
According to the information, Vikas alias Vicky, a resident of Salhawas, had gone to his sister's house in Kapuri village of Mahendragarh district along with his two friends. On Sunday evening, the three friends were returning and after having dinner in village Sarola, they had gone towards their home.
Yogesh, a resident of Sarola, was driving the car, while Vikas and Ravi, a resident of Dhakala, were traveling in it. Injured Yogesh told that due to the sudden arrival of Nilgai on the road near Dhakala, the car lost its balance and it overturned straight into the swamp. After the accident, Yogesh and Ravi somehow managed to get out of the car, but Vikas got stuck inside.
Due to the pressure of mud and water, he could not come out and died. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and after much effort took out the body. There is mourning in Salhawas village due to the news of Vikas's death.
Relatives told that Vikas was married and had an innocent daughter of just seven months. On Monday morning, the police conducted the post-mortem at Jhajjar General Hospital and handed over the body to the relatives. Police have registered coincidental action in this regard.
