Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. The influence of Kankani continues in the entire state including the capital Ranchi. Kankani increases in the morning and evening due to the cold wind coming from the northwest direction.
In the new update of Meteorological Center Ranchi, it is being told that the effect of cold wave continues in the north-western region of the state like Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Latehar as well as in the adjacent central part i.e. Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Bokaro and Khunti, whereas, dense fog can be seen at some places. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
The temperature in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas has also fallen. The homeless are facing a lot of trouble late at night, they stay awake and take the help of bonfires.
Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in the entire state. The highest maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kanke.
At the same time, the maximum temperature of the capital Ranchi was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius. In the forecast issued by Meteorological Center Ranchi, it was said that there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in the state for the next five days i.e. 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 December.
In such a situation, there is no hope of relief from cold even after bright sunshine. In the capital Ranchi till December 20, there will be light and moderate fog in the morning and later the sky will be mainly clear.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the effect of cold winds coming from the north-western direction has increased in the entire state, due to which the chill has increased in the north-western and neighboring districts. The effect of cold has started increasing in the early morning and late night.
