Dialogue partner, Kalayat. Rahul Dhiman (25), a resident of Kalayat, died tragically in a road accident near village Kailaram located on the Chandigarh-Hisar National Highway. The young man was married to Annu, a resident of Chulkana, on December 4 last month.
As per marital tradition, the wife had gone to her maternal home. Now on January 12, Rahul was happily preparing to bring his wife from her parents' home, but time had something else in store. There is mourning in the area due to the death of the youth and the condition of the newly married wife and family members is crying and crying.
A case has been registered against the private car driver in connection with the incident on the complaint of deceased Rahul's cousin Naveen. Naveen and councilor Preet Jagdev said that the accident happened on Sunday night when Rahul and his friend Monu Sharma were returning home on a motorcycle after shopping for clothes from Kaithal.
Suddenly a speeding vehicle hit the motorcyclists from behind. The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot leaving the injured covered in blood. Due to lack of timely help, Rahul Dhiman died on the spot. Later, former Kalayat assembly candidate Vinod Nirmal, who was passing by the incident site in his car, saw the accident.
They stopped immediately to help. Taking control of the situation, the injured Monu Sharma was taken to the hospital. Police investigating officer Vikram Singh said that the post-mortem of the deceased Rahul Dhiman was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members. A case has been registered in connection with the accident and investigation is ongoing. Action will be taken as per rules.
