The Championship Organizing Committee said that the basketball tournament is considered important for the future. This format will help in connecting the youth with sports and honing their talent. Meanwhile, on the last day of the competition, Delhi Government's Education Minister Ashish Sood was the chief guest.
Ashish Sood said that this championship is unique in itself, 3x3 format is the future of basketball. I congratulate the organizers for organizing this event and assure that the Delhi Government will provide all possible support to promote the sport. Khel Mahakumbh will be organized in Delhi.
Delhi Basketball Association (DBA) President Mukesh Kalia said that this championship is a true tribute to late Harish Sharma. Such events promote sportsmanship and competition among the youth. Meanwhile, BFI representative Adarsh Arjun praised the event and called it an important step towards strengthening the game at the grassroots level. Parliamentarians, former international players, coaches and sports administrators were also present at the closing ceremony.
