In fact, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi was beaten up by security personnel in Pakistan's Punjab Assembly on Friday. A video of this is also going viral on social media. Not only this, a case of misbehavior with the CM's representatives has also come to light.
It is being told that CM Afridi was entering the Punjab Assembly with his representatives. During this time the security personnel tried to stop them. However, during this time his friend Fateh Ullah Burki comes to his rescue.
Regarding the incident, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi issued a statement and said that no democratic government of any country does such things. This is a complete martial law like situation. Afridi claimed that democracy is in danger in Pakistan.
CM Afridi's representative also assaulted
First the security personnel beat up Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi. After this, the security personnel also misbehaved with Afridi's representative Burki, who came to his rescue. However, Burki was later released after other officers came to his rescue. According to Pakistani officials, no leader was injured during this period.
It is noteworthy that in Pakistan's Punjab, Muslim League Noon is in power and Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz is the CM. On the other hand, the CM of KP is Sohail Afridi, who is from Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
