Digital Desk, New Delhi. कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर ने मंगलवार को भारत-अमेरिका ट्रेड डील पर पारदर्शिता की मांग करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय सामानों पर टैरिफ घटाकर 18 परसेंट करना पॉजिटिव हो सकता है, लेकिन सरकार को इसकी डिटेल्स बतानी चाहिए।
The India-US trade deal will reduce the tariff on Indian goods in America by 18 percent, while America has claimed that this deal will help it export more agricultural products to New Delhi.
To this, Tharoor said, "I want to know what is in it. The opposition is just asking for clarity. We do not know what is in the deal. We have Mr. Trump's tweet and Mr. Modi's tweet; is this enough in a parliamentary democracy? Shouldn't the Indian government come and tell the people of the country what is in the deal?"
