There was a dispute between the young man and the girl who had reached Salempur railway station to meet his girlfriend, which turned into a fight. GRP arrived on information and arrested the youth.

A young man from Prayagraj had contacted a girl living in a village in Bhatni police station area through Facebook. As the conversation progressed, a love affair developed between the two. On January 21, the young man reached Salempur railway station to meet the girl and called the girl there too.
It is said that during the meeting on platform number one, an argument broke out between the two over some issue. Within no time the dispute escalated and fighting started. Seeing the commotion at the station, people informed the GRP.
GRP Bhatni reached the spot and took the youth into custody. On the basis of the girl's complaint, a case has been registered against the accused youth under relevant sections.
In this regard, GRP police station incharge Bibi Rajbhar said that the incident of fighting had come to light after a mutual dispute between a young man and a girl. The accused youth has been arrested and sent to jail in judicial custody.
