Communication partner, Jalandhar. They broke into a house in broad daylight in Surya Enclave area of Jalandhar and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash. The theft came to light when the home owner returned home, the complaint of which was lodged by Jasbir Singh, a resident of Surya Enclave, with the police of Ramamandi police station and the police started investigation.
Jasbir Singh, a resident of Surya Enclave, said that he runs a bread vendor near BMC Chowk and he had gone to work as usual. Taking advantage of this, thieves entered the house and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash.
He came to know about the theft while returning home, after which he investigated and found out that the thieves had stolen two gold rings, a gold set, about 7 to 8 tola silver and about Rs 70 to 75 thousand in cash. He lodged a complaint with the Ramamandi police station.
Police of Ramamandi police station reached the spot and started investigation. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the house so that the thieves can be identified. Police say that the accused will be caught soon.
