Those selling fake products of renowned companies arrested.
Jagran correspondent, Modinagar. Tata Consumer Products Limited officials raided Jindal Grocery Store in Devendrapuri, Modinagar. 750 fake packets of Tata Salt, 480 Harpic and 218 fake allouts have been recovered from here.
Shopkeepers Sumit and Rakesh have been arrested. All the items have been sealed by the police. A case has been registered under the Copyright Act on the complaint of company officer Lalit Kumar. Fake goods were detected during the survey in Modinagar. It is not yet clear where the counterfeit goods are being manufactured. Police is busy investigating.
