Samvad Sutra, Laharagaga (Sangrur). A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in village Lahal Kalan, where a brother-in-law entered the house and killed his own brother-in-law with bullets. The matter turned out to be of love marriage. The brother-in-law was angry with the love marriage, so he murdered the brother-in-law.
The police traced the case and arrested the accused in just five hours. According to the information, Gurpreet Singh (29) had got a love marriage done two years ago.
After this, the team formed by the police, DSP Ranbir Singh, police station incharge Manpreet Singh and CIA staff, working on different theories, solved the case within five hours. At the time of the incident, Gurpreet Singh had started taking his dog out, at the same time at 2 o'clock in the night two persons fired three rounds of fire at him.
All three bullets hit Gurpreet Singh's skull and he died on the spot. After the incident, DSP Lehra Ranbir Singh and Police Station Head Manpreet Singh started action. In which it was revealed that deceased Gurpreet Singh's brother-in-law Harmandeep Singh, resident of Talwara, was unhappy with his sister's love marriage. Therefore he shot his brother-in-law Gurpreet Singh alias Babbu with bullets.

Harmandeep was found to be the mastermaid in the entire case, who has been arrested. DSP Ranbir Singh said that the police came and saw that the dead body of Gurpreet Singh was lying in the room. There was a bullet on his head, there was blood all around.
According to the family, the attackers' mouths were tied. The family said that Gurpreet Singh had no enmity with anyone nor did he have any criminal record. The body has been sent to Moonak Government Hospital for post-mortem. The search for the remaining masked attackers is ongoing. Who will be caught soon.
