Jagran correspondent, Deoria. The government has given consent for the construction of Rail Over Bridge (ROB) on Kasya Dhale of the city. The estimated cost of this project has been said to be Rs 81 crore 41 lakh 11 thousand. The government has given information by sending a letter to the General Manager, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. DM Divya Mittal has confirmed this.
A proposal was sent to the government by the Public Works Department for the construction of a two-lane rail overpass at level crossing number 129 special (Kasya Dhala) on Deoria-Bhikhampur road, in which cost sharing with the Railways and consent of the state government was sought.
The government has given the consent of the state government on eight points including inclusion of the construction of two-lane ROB in the Railway Works Programme, cost sharing. TVU (Traffic Volume Unit) of Dhale is 350399.
The government has clarified that the action of land acquisition for the approach road will be taken after the approval of the original proposal from the Railways and the State Government, on which the State Government has no objection. The plan, design and estimation of the bridge and its approach road will be finalized with the joint consent of the Railways and the State Government.
The site selection will also be done jointly by the officials of Railways and Bridge Corporation. The state government has agreed to contribute its share. An access road will be constructed along with the bridge.
