Digital Desk, Patna. Today, including Bihar, the festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated with full devotion. On this auspicious occasion, a huge crowd of devotees is being seen in all the Shiva temples in different cities since Sunday morning.

As soon as dawn broke, devotees started reaching the temples for Jalabhishek and Rudrabhishek of Lord Bholenath. The entire atmosphere is filled with devotion due to the chants of Har-Har Mahadev.

Long queues were seen at the major Shiva temples of Gaya, especially Ramshila Temple and Markandeya Mahadev Temple since morning. Devotees are praying for happiness and prosperity from Lord Shiva by offering milk, water, Belpatra and Dhatura.

Bagaha: Devotees gathered to offer prayers at Neelkanth Narmadeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Ramnagar.

Necessary arrangements have been made by the administration for security and crowd control in the temple premises. Volunteers are also engaged in providing facilities to the devotees. Special pujas and bhajans and kirtans will continue throughout the day, due to which the atmosphere of the city remains completely Shiva-filled.

Similarly, devotees gathered to offer prayers at Neelkanth Narmadeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Ramnagar in East Champaran district.
