Jagran correspondent, Shahjahanpur. City resident Ramashankar Dixit has termed the FIR of sexual exploitation against Swami Avimukteshwaranand and his disciple as part of a conspiracy. He said that seven days ago Ashutosh Pandey had sent his people and contacted him. While talking on the phone, he was told to accuse Avimukteshwaranand of sexually harassing his minor daughter, in return he would get money. When he refused, he disconnected the call saying that there was another way.
He went to Varanasi with his wife and children and gave complete information to Avimukteshwaranand and the media. Ramashankar, originally from Hardoi, told the correspondent during a phone conversation that his father was Dandi Swami. He was acquainted with Ashutosh Pandey in connection with the work of Brahmin organization.
On February 18, when he went for a walk on the Ring Road, three young men approached him and started a conversation by introducing him as his father. After some time, those young men offered to give a huge amount of money in exchange for doing a task. He felt that the youth knew someone in distress and was asking for help. Before anyone could ask anything, one of the young men called Ashutosh.
Ramashankar alleges that Ashutosh Pandey told him to go to Kashi or Badrinath and accuse Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of sexually harassing his daughter. In return he will get so much money with which he can do any work. Whatever happens next, we will handle it. Ramashankar refused.
Said that he has neither met Swami nor visited any of his ashrams, in such a situation how can he make baseless allegations. When he refused, he was even threatened over phone. A few days later, when he got information that an FIR had been registered in this case in Hardoi, he feared that his family's name might have been used wrongly.
Due to this, he reached Varanasi to clarify the entire matter and presented his views in front of the media. He clarified that he has no connection with Ashutosh or Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and he should not be dragged into any matter. Currently he is in Varanasi with his family.
