Inauguration of Fixed Compactor Transfer Station (FCTS) at Nand Nagari.

Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. North-East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday inaugurated the Fixed Compactor Transfer Station (FCTS) at Ramnagar East, Nand Nagri. During this, he said that to implement the goals of Swachh Bharat Mission on the ground, work is being done in coordination from the central government to the local bodies. FCTS are very important for scientific disposal of household waste and providing necessary land for this is their priority. Only then will Delhi become the cleanest city. After the inauguration of FCTS in Ramnagar East, Nand Nagari, Manoj Tiwari said that every possible support is being given to the cleanliness campaigns being run by the Municipal Corporation in North-East Delhi. Continuous efforts are being made to remove the obstacles coming between the Delhi Development Authority and the Municipal Corporation in the construction of such stations, so that more stations can be established as per the need.

He alleged that after 2014, the Central Government provided resources and development funds to link Swachh Delhi with the National Sanitation Campaign, but the previous Delhi government did not allow these schemes to be implemented effectively. Now, after the formation of three engine government in Delhi, development works are progressing without any interruption and projects related to cleanliness are being completed rapidly.

Zone Chairman Puneet Sharma said that FCTS compacts heavy garbage. This FCTS has the capacity to compact ten tonnes of garbage. On this occasion, a large number of people including Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Mishra, Corporation Councilor Chandra Prakash Sharma, Rajkumar Srivastava, Anand Trivedi, Hariom Vishwakarma, Radheshyam Yadav were present.
