Traffic System Will Be Changed In Darbhanga Today, Check The Route Chart Before Leaving Home

Jagran correspondent, Darbhanga. Under the second phase of Samriddhi Yatra, the visit of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is scheduled from 27 to 29 January. In this sequence, the Chief Minister will be on a tour of Darbhanga district on January 28.

During this, he will inspect other important development works going on in the district including schemes related to Pragati Yatra and Seven Nishchay. Will also participate in public dialogue programme. Regarding this visit of the Chief Minister, the district administration has made extensive changes in the traffic system in the city. Traffic diversions have been implemented on several major roads, while special parking spaces for vehicles have been earmarked at various locations.

In such a situation, an appeal has been made to the people coming to Darbhanga on 28th January to get information about the route chart before leaving home, so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided. According to the route map released by the district administration, this arrangement has been made keeping in mind the smooth operation of thousands of vehicles participating in the program, so that the general public faces minimum hassle.

The administration has identified special parking spaces in different parts of the city and allotted them for different categories of vehicles. This includes passenger vehicles, buses, VVIP vehicles, vehicles of press and media personnel, as well as two-wheelers and four-wheelers of the general public.

To implement this entire system effectively, a detailed plan has been prepared jointly by the Police and Traffic Department, which will remain effective from 7 am on January 28 till the end of the program. The administration has identified a total of 11 parking spots for this special program to be held in Darbhanga.

The first parking space has been created in the market committee, where the passenger trains and buses coming for the program will be parked. The second site has been earmarked between Megha and Koyla place, where passenger trains and buses can be parked. The third parking lot has been created between Donar Petrol Pump and BMP-13, where there will be parking for passenger trains, buses and commercial vehicles.

The fourth parking space has been created in the Polytechnic College campus, where there will be parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers of the general public. The fifth spot is the fire house parking, which is reserved for VVIP vehicles. The sixth parking space has been earmarked in the Survey Office premises, where vehicles of press and media personnel will be parked.

The seventh site has been built near the old bus stand, Aaykar Chowk, where there will be parking facility for two-wheelers and four-wheelers of the general public. The eighth venue is the Shyama Temple complex, where the two-wheelers coming to the program will be parked. The ninth parking space has been earmarked at Home Guard Office, Kaderabad, where parking facility for heavy vehicles and buses has been provided.

The 10th venue is Laxmishwar Library Complex, where special parking arrangements have been made for the vehicles of the officials. The administration has clarified that this entire traffic arrangement will remain in effect from 7 am on January 28 till the end of the program.

Apart from this, normal traffic will continue on all other routes. If necessary, partial changes can be made in the traffic system as per the circumstances. The district administration has appealed for cooperation from the common people, so that the program can be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
