Murdered for refusing to charge mobile. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. A mechanic was beaten to death by three youths for refusing to charge his mobile in Trilokpuri area of East Delhi. In the incident, one of his employees who came to save the mechanic was also seriously injured by the accused.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Bir Singh, while the injured employee has been named Ram Kishan. The dispute started when the accused asked to charge their mobile at the mechanic's shop and when they were refused, the fight escalated.
It is alleged that the three angry youths made a fatal attack on Bir Singh. Hearing the noise, employee Ram Kishan came to intervene and he was also attacked with a sharp weapon. Both were taken to the hospital, where doctors declared Bir Singh dead, while Ram Kishan is undergoing treatment.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Mayur Vihar police station reached the spot and started investigation. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby and are identifying the accused and searching for them.
