Meanwhile, all the five MLAs of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, elected in the name of development in the last assembly elections, have not been able to spend even Rs 5 crore of their MLA fund on development projects, leave alone bringing special packages in their areas.

Loni MLA Nandkishore Gurjar spent the most, while Sahibabad MLA and cabinet minister Sunil Sharma and Muradnagar MLA Ajitpal Tyagi were left behind. The areas of ministers and MLAs are surrounded by problems. The financial year is about to end, but the five MLAs and MLCs of the district have not yet spent their funds completely on the development project.

Development Work: Most of the work is being done by the Municipal Corporation in the posh colonies of the city. The main road on Jagriti Vihar Guldhar Road is full of broken drains, potholes and water. Like last time, this time also the fund is going to go back to the government.
Sahibabad MLA and Cabinet Minister - Sunil Sharma
Development Work: Sahibabad MLA has not yet spent a single rupee from the fund of 2025-26. Main roads are in bad condition, pictures of potholes and accidents are common.
Loni MLA - Nandkishore Gurjar
Development Work: Expenditure on various works including roads, drains, footpaths and interlocking roads. Proposals have been sent for the remaining funds.
Modinagar MLA - Dr. Manju Shivach
Development Work: Cremation grounds, dilapidated roads, drains and footpaths have been constructed.
Ghaziabad MLA - Sanjeev Sharma
Development work: Development work like road, drain, drain, electricity wiring etc.
Legislative Council Member – Dinesh Goyal
Development work: In the districts of both the divisions including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Shamli and Saharanpur, the maximum amount of money was spent in the education sector.
Legislative Council Member and Minister of State – Narendra Kashyap
Development work: Expenditure on entrance gates, improving the living standards of the disabled and schools etc.
