Meanwhile, all the five MLAs of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, elected in the name of development in the last assembly elections, have not been able to spend even Rs 5 crore of their MLA fund on development projects, leave alone bringing special packages in their areas.

Development Work: Sahibabad MLA has not yet spent a single rupee from the fund of 2025-26. Main roads are in bad condition, pictures of potholes and accidents are common.

Loni MLA - Nandkishore Gurjar

Development Work: Expenditure on various works including roads, drains, footpaths and interlocking roads. Proposals have been sent for the remaining funds.

Modinagar MLA - Dr. Manju Shivach

Development Work: Cremation grounds, dilapidated roads, drains and footpaths have been constructed.

Ghaziabad MLA - Sanjeev Sharma

Development work: Development work like road, drain, drain, electricity wiring etc.

Legislative Council Member – Dinesh Goyal

Development work: In the districts of both the divisions including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Shamli and Saharanpur, the maximum amount of money was spent in the education sector.

Legislative Council Member and Minister of State – Narendra Kashyap

Development work: Expenditure on entrance gates, improving the living standards of the disabled and schools etc.
