Jagran correspondent, Bahadurgarh. While undergoing appendix operation on an ex-serviceman in a private hospital located in Rohtak, Delhi, a piece of bandage was left inside. Due to this, the patient's condition deteriorated and he was urgently asked for a second operation.
On the complaint of the patient, the police have started investigation by registering a case against the concerned doctor and the hospital management. This incident happened with Surendra Singh, resident of Badli. He is retired from the post of Army Havildar. He had stomach ache on 24 January.

Surendra Singh's operation took place on 27 January. Then he was shifted to the ward, but after the operation, Surendra Singh's condition deteriorated. He kept telling the doctor and staff repeatedly that he was not well, but no attention was paid.
After this, on February 10, when Surendra's condition worsened further, the doctor got a CT scan done. Surendra Singh alleges that the doctor and hospital management were negligent in his treatment.
The doctor did not provide proper treatment for illegitimate financial gain. Due to this the panel also suffered financial loss. It even became a threat to life. Here, during police interrogation, it was found that a piece of bandage was left in the patient's stomach.
After registering the case, medical records related to the patient's operation have been summoned from the hospital. Investigation will be done on this basis.
