Three days after the death of software engineer Yuvraj Mehta, his car was pulled out from the water-filled basement on Tuesday evening. 27-year-old Yuvraj Mehta's Grand Vitara car went off the road due to dense fog late on Friday night and fell into a water-filled construction pit.
In this incident, Yuvraj struggled to save his life for about two and a half hours, but due to lack of immediate help, he died by drowning in water. On Tuesday evening, a gray SUV car was taken out with the help of a crane from a 20 feet deep pit in Sector 150 of Noida, over which a lot of weeds had accumulated. With the car coming out, it is expected that some important information may come to light.
After 7 hours of hard work, the NDRF team pulled out Engineer Yuvraj Mehta's car from the pit at around 6.30 pm. The bonnet of the car is open and the front part is seen sunken inside. From this it can be inferred that the car had collided with something. Apart from this, the sunroof of the car was also open. Officials believe that perhaps Yuvraj might have got out of the car through that or the broken windshield.
It is noteworthy that engineer Yuvraj Mehta, who was riding in the car, died by drowning in the water filled basement near Sector-150 in Knowledge Park Kotwali area late on Friday night. To save him, police, fire brigade, SDRF, NDRF team conducted a rescue operation for about 4 and a half hours, but Yuvraj could not be saved. During this time his body was recovered, but due to great depth the submerged car could not be taken out.
