With this, fake job card holders will be identified and the noose will be tightened against fake job card holders, so that only genuine beneficiaries can get the benefits of the scheme.
On the instructions of the government, the department is running a campaign for e-KYC of job card holders. During this campaign being run up to the Panchayat level, till now only 30.01 percent job card holders of the district have been able to get e-KYC.
There are total seven and a half lakh job card holders in the district:
Among the workers working as laborers under MNREGA, 7 lakh 65 thousand 224 laborers of the district are job card holders. Out of these, Aadhaar seeding of 7 lakh 26 thousand 458 job card holders has already been done.
Till Monday, e-KYC of total 2 lakh 18 thousand 44 job card holders of the district has been done. According to the departmental report, 9 thousand 940 job card holders have got their e-KYC done in the last three days.

Government and genuine workers of MNREGA will benefit from e-KYC. This will guarantee that work will be provided only to genuine labourers. There will also be a ban on payment of amounts being paid in the name of fake job card holders. The laborers working will also be paid wages on time. The important thing is that e-KYC will also be necessary to avail the benefits of government housing scheme.
It was told that the beneficiaries taking advantage of the government housing scheme are also given job cards and are also paid wages for doing their own labor in housing construction. Those without e-KYC may also be deprived of the benefits of the government's housing scheme.

According to the departmental officer, job card holding laborers working under MNREGA can also get e-KYC done themselves. For this, you can use your own mobile or can also get your e-KYC done from any cyber café. NMMS app can be used for this. However, MNREGA workers are also going to Panchayats and doing e-KYC of laborers holding job cards.
MNREGA NEP Director Pooja Kumari Pooja and District Program Officer Bittu Singh said that on departmental instructions, the campaign to conduct e-KYC of job card holders is going on in the district. Every day MNREGA workers are doing e-KYC in Panchayats. The officer duo said that this is very important for the future of job card holders.
