Gajendra Kumar Pandey, son of Vijay Kumar Pandey, resident of Salkhua village of Amanur police station area of ​​Saran district, has been detained from another state outside Bihar.

This action has been taken on the basis of the FIR registered after the video was broadcast. According to the information received, after the introduction of the UGC Bill, different types of comments were being made on social media by people from different sections, especially those belonging to the Swarna Samaj.

Indecent comment on PM Modi

In this sequence, Gajendra Kumar Pandey got angry and posted a video from his social media account making indecent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The said video started circulating very fast in no time, due to which the matter gained momentum.

After the video was broadcast, there was a strong reaction from the people. As the pressure increased, the young man later removed the video from his ID, but by then many people had saved it and it continued to be circulated on various platforms. Considering the seriousness of the matter, case number 19/26 was registered in Saran Cyber ​​Police Station.

Case registered under IT Act

A case has been registered in the FIR under sections 296, 351(2), 351(3), 352, 353(1), 353(2) of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS) and section 66/67 of the IT Act.

Police say that this matter is related to the Prime Minister of the country, hence it was taken seriously and action was taken on the basis of technical evidence. After continuous monitoring and technical investigation, the team of Saran Cyber ​​Police Station traced the location of the accused and detained him from another state outside Bihar. The police are now interrogating the accused and further legal action is being taken.

The administration has clarified that strict action will be taken against those who circulate any objectionable comment or video on social media.
