Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Common passengers had to face a lot of trouble due to the crowd gathered at the airport on Monday evening due to the arrival of VIPs. Professor Nidhi Chaturvedi of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, who returned from Delhi by Akasa Airlines flight, said that it was difficult to get out and there was a scuffle with many passengers. The airport administration has denied these allegations.

On receiving information about the arrival of VIP, a large number of supporters and workers had gathered. Due to this crowd gathered at the gate, the exit route for the passengers was blocked.
People in the crowd were trying to enter near the gate, due to which the passengers coming out were troubled. It is alleged that there was a scuffle with many passengers.

Airport Security CO Vinod Singh clearly denied the incident of scuffle with the passengers. He told that during the VIP tour, only those people whose names were included in the list were allowed inside. The entire system was in accordance with the safety standards.
