The police solved the mystery of the auto and the burnt skeleton found in it.
Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. Police have solved the mystery of the burnt auto and the burnt skeleton found in it on January 14 in Tronica City area. The body found in the auto has been identified as that of the auto driver. He was murdered by his friends at the behest of a Tantrik from Delhi by hitting a cylinder on his head as a sacrifice for sorcery.
The accused had burnt the body along with the auto to hide its identity. Delhi had asked for human sacrifice to meet God and then become rich. The accused believed that the auto driver might sacrifice one of them, so in order to save themselves, the accused killed their own friend.
Police have arrested two accused in the case while one accused is still absconding. The police is searching for him. Police have recovered the cylinder used in the incident from the accused.
ACP Loni Siddharth Gautam said that on January 14, an auto was found in a completely burnt condition in the forest along Ghithora Road of Tronica City. A human skeleton was found in the back seat of the auto. The body was so badly burnt that it could not be determined whether it was that of a man or a woman.
Police called the forensic team on the spot and collected evidence and from the registration and chassis number of the auto, identified the deceased as Naveen, resident of Vikas Nagar, Loni. Naveen was missing for four days. In this regard, Naveen's brother Nitin had filed a report on Friday expressing fear of his brother's disappearance and murder.
After this, the police arrested two accused late on Friday night during the investigation. ACP said that among the arrested accused are Pawan and Sagar alias Pandit of Loni Nishant Colony. Pawan is originally a resident of Khekra Baghpat and Sagar village of Bamnauli police station Doghat Baghpat. Whereas the accomplice of the accused involved in the incident, Naseem, resident of Panchlok Colony, Tronica City, is still absconding.
ACP told that the deceased Naveen and Pawan, Sagar and Naseem were friends among themselves. Naveen and Naseem used to drive their own autos. During interrogation, the accused told that Naveen used to go to a Tantrik in Delhi. Before the incident, Naveen had taken all three with him to the Tantrik. While talking to Naveen, the Tantrik had said that if he sacrifices someone close to him, he will not only become rich, but he will also meet God.
The accused say that they had heard this from the Tantrik. From here all four returned and were sure that Naveen would sacrifice one of them to gain wealth. The accused told that for this reason, as part of a conspiracy, all three of them called Naveen to Sagar's room on the evening of 13 January and taking the opportunity, killed Naveen by hitting him on the head and waist with the gas cylinder kept in the room.
Wrapped the dead body in a blanket, brought it by auto and disposed it
ACP Siddharth Gautam said that after murdering Naveen, the accused kept his body wrapped in several blankets for several hours. The murder was committed at around 7 pm and he waited till 11 pm to dispose of the body. During this time, the three accused drank alcohol sitting in Sagar's room and then at around 11 o'clock, they kept the body in Naveen's auto and took it to the forest on Ghithora Road.
Naseem drove the auto containing Naveen's body. While Sagar and Pawan followed behind in Naseem's auto. After taking the body to the forest, the accused poured petrol on it and set it on fire. The body and the auto were badly burnt as the body was wrapped in several blankets and plastic mats.
SHO Tronica City Manoj Kumar said that after burning Naveen's body along with the auto, Naseem separated from the arrested accused.
