State Bureau, Lucknow. National President of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Panchayati Raj Minister in the State Government, Om Prakash Rajbhar has written a letter to the Chief Minister on not determining the posts as per OBC reservation in Lekhpal recruitment.
It is told that if 27 percent OBC reservation is implemented on 7994 vacant posts, then the total number of posts should be 2158 whereas in the notification a total of 1441 posts are shown for OBC. 717 posts are shown less.
What did Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar demand?
He has demanded that in Lekhpal recruitment, the posts should be determined as per the 27 percent reservation for OBCs. Rajbhar has written that the total number of Lekhpal posts has been declared by the Revenue Council as 7994. In this, category wise 4185 posts have been reserved for unreserved (general), 1446 for Scheduled Caste, 150 for Scheduled Tribe, 1441 for Other Backward Class and 792 posts for Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
There has been no cut in the reservation of other classes, only the reservation of OBC category has been cut. This is injustice to the youth of OBC category of the state. If this discrepancy has arisen due to any technical or administrative reasons, then its explanation should be made public. A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Chief Secretary and Chairman Revenue Council.
