Jagran correspondent, Rishikesh. The Municipal Corporation administration demolished the two-storey building built on government land in Chandreshwar Nagar. This construction was done about 10 years ago. At present no one was living here.

With the demolition of this construction, an alternative route will also be created to reach Chandreshwar Nagar. Which will provide relief during Chardham Yatra.

In Chandreshwar Nagar, someone had constructed construction on government land about 10 years ago. Due to this the road was completely blocked. There is often a traffic jam on the road leading to Chandreshwar Nagar.

This is a densely populated area. Where there is constant traffic. The streets are also narrow. A notice to demolish the construction was issued by the Municipal Corporation on January 28. But no one was found to take notice. After which a notice was pasted outside the building.

Municipal Commissioner Gopal Ram had given orders to demolish the two-storey building. After which, on Wednesday, the corporation team led by Assistant Municipal Commissioner Chandrakant Bhatt reached the construction site.

The construction was demolished with the help of JCB. No one claimed this building. No one was living in the building.

The demolition of this construction will provide an alternative route to Chandreshwar Nagar. Due to which people will be able to get relief from the jam. This can be especially beneficial during Chardham Yatra.
