Protect children from social media addiction

He said that children should be kept away from social media as much as possible.

The Minister said that in today's era, mobile and social media are affecting the time and attention of children the most. Excessive screen time at an early age has a negative impact on studies and behavior.
He appealed to the parents to spend more time with their children. Only communication and guidance from the family gives the right direction to the children.
Ways to keep children away from social media
He suggested fixing a fixed time for mobile use at home. Keep children busy in sports, reading books and creative activities.
Promote offline friendships and communication rather than online. Parents themselves should maintain balance in the use of social media, so that children can learn from them.
A strong future is created by values and discipline.
The minister said that imparting good values and discipline to children is the biggest responsibility. Real life experiences are more important than the virtual world of social media.
If parents remain alert, children will not wander in the wrong direction. He said that it is the collective responsibility of the society to secure the future of children.
