Jagran correspondent, Dharamshala. Now passengers will not feel tired in the luxury buses of Himachal Road Transport Corporation. The corporation has added blanket facility for passengers. Now passengers traveling in HRTC buses are getting the facility of blanket from the New Year i.e. from 1st January.
To know the feedback of the passengers, HRTC has kept a feedback register in the bus here, in which the passengers will be able to give their feedback and suggestions and the feedback of this register will reach the RM from the bus stand and from the RM to the DM.
Six new luxury buses added
While talking to journalists in Dharamshala, Divisional Manager (DM) of HRTC's Dharamshala division, Pankaj Chadha, said that six new luxury buses have been included for interstate routes. 666 buses are providing services in HRCT division Dharamshala, of which 169 are interstate, 28 intrastate and 570 are engaged in local service. This fleet is being operated by 2465 employees. This also includes 881 drivers and 944 conductors.
Three new services have been started
HRTC has started three services, in which luxury bus service has been started from Chamunda to Vrindavan Himdhara, McLeodganj to Delhi, Nadaun to Delhi.

Under Employee Welfare and Human Resource Development, 139 employees have been regularized on contract. 17 piece meal employees of the workshop have been converted into apprentices. An employee has been given a salary increase after twenty years of service. 63 employees have been promoted. 102 apprentice trainees have been given training.
Facility provided to 41358 concessional card holders
The facility has been provided to 41358 concessional card holders. This includes Green Card 11,421, Smart Card 3634, Samman Card 17999, NCMC Card 707 and Him Bus Card 7597.
Multi-storey parking will be constructed at Chamba's old bus stand.
Multi-storey parking will be constructed at the old bus stand of Chamba district. The construction work of multi-storey parking under ADB is in progress in Palampur and the bhoomi pujan of Jaisinghpur bus stand and regional office has been done.
