To ensure that the festivals are conducted in a safe, peaceful and harmonious environment, every activity from city to village is being closely monitored. Cyber teams are also keeping an eye on internet media. Strict action will be taken against spreading any kind of rumor or misleading news.
Special surveillance campaign is being conducted at the police station level. Policemen have been instructed to remain alert in all the police stations of the district. Continuous monitoring is being done through drone cameras in sensitive and mixed populated areas. Suspicious activities are being monitored by monitoring rooftops, streets and important places with drones.
Patrolling has been increased in major markets, religious places and crowded places. Flag march is also being conducted at many places. So that the common man can feel safe. Special vigil is being kept on illegal liquor, hooliganism and anti-social elements. Internet media is also being closely monitored by the cyber team. A warning has been given of strict action against those spreading any kind of rumor or misleading news. Citizens have been appealed to immediately inform the police in case of any suspicious activity and not pay heed to rumours.
SSP Shyam Narayan Singh said that festivals are a symbol of mutual brotherhood and harmony. Public participation is necessary in celebrating them with peace and cooperation. For this purpose, security arrangements have been ensured on a large scale in the district, so that both the festivals can be completed safely.
