Police raid in Trinamool leader's hotel in Birbhum

State Bureau, Jagran, Kolkata. A large number of crude bombs were recovered from the hotel of a local Trinamool Congress leader in Bolpur area of Birbhum district of Bengal. Police gave this information on Sunday.
Police teams from two police stations raided the hotel of Trinamool Congress leader Babu Das in Bolpur. Babu Das is councilor of ward number one of Bolpur municipality and husband of Trinamool Congress leader Sangeeta Das.
However, Babu Das is currently absconding. No official statement has come yet from Trinamool Congress in this matter.
Crude bombs were being prepared inside the hotel
According to sources, Babu Das's hotel is located near the provincial railway station of Bolpur. It is alleged that crude bombs were being prepared inside the hotel premises. Seven people have been detained from the hotel and are being interrogated.
There have been allegations of illegal activities at the hotel in the past, including complaints of running a prostitution business.
