Jagran correspondent, Dadri. Police will deal strictly with those who disturb peace and brotherhood during the festivals of Ramzan and Holi. Police will be deployed at the places where Holika Dahan takes place. Police will keep a close watch on hoodlums and drunkards. Religious leaders, village heads and well-known people of the area attended the meeting of the Peace Committee held under the chairmanship of Dadri ACP at Jarcha police station on Wednesday.

He was asked about the problems faced by people during festivals. He shared his problems with the police, which were resolved. On the demand of the villagers, assurance was given that the police would be present on the spot during Holika Dahan. A strict vigil was kept on hoodlums and drunkards. It was warned that strict action would be taken against those who create disturbances.

Appeal to celebrate the festival of Ramzan and Holi with brotherhood

The meeting chaired by ACP Dadri Prashali Gangwar started with the introduction of the people. Police station in-charge Kailash Nath appealed to celebrate the festival of Ramzan and Holi with peace and brotherhood. The police shared their contact numbers with the people. Due to occupation of Holi place in Jamshedpur and offering of Namaz in Khangora, police presence was demanded.

People said that during Holika Dahan, in some villages, drunken miscreants set fire prematurely, which leads to fights. He also demanded deployment of police on Holika Dahan and keeping an eye on miscreants and drunkards. On this occasion, ACP Dadri Prashali Gangwar said that all the problems of the area will be solved. Holi will be celebrated during Ramzan.

Remember, those who do not want to play Holi, should not leave the house. Do not create any big controversy regarding color application. Celebrate festivals with love and brotherhood. Such a situation should not arise that the police has to take strict action. The festival should be celebrated with appropriate songs which do not offend others.

In view of the board exam, people have been asked to play music at low volume. Dhir Singh Rana, Rakesh Rana, Narendra Pradhan, Sanjay Rana, Ravindra Mittal, Ashok, Bijendra Chauhan, Yogesh Chauhan, Kamal Pradhan, Surendra Khari etc. were present on this occasion.
