Preparation Of UP Roadways For Holi Festival, Frequency Of Buses Will Be Increased On These Routes Including Delhi.

Jagran correspondent, Rae Bareli. Roadways have started preparations to ensure that foreigners coming and going home to celebrate Holi do not have to face any trouble or face jostling in buses.

Due to the festival of Holi, this time the buses from Pratapgarh Depot of Roadways will be operated as specials on long routes by increasing the frequency of the festival. Apart from this, the frequency of buses will be increased on local routes.

Holi is on March 4. There are a total of 173 buses in the Transport Corporation depot. Of these, there are 99 corporation buses and 74 contracted buses. The Transport Corporation has started preparations for operating roadways buses for the festival. This will provide convenience to roadways bus passengers. This time on Holi, foreigners are facing difficulty in reaching home.

This is because there is a long waiting time in trains. Eight buses are being run on the long route Delhi, four days before Holi, around 40 other buses will be operated on this route.

The frequency of buses of other routes of the depot will be increased on this route. Special attention will be kept on the increased traffic of passengers on Lucknow and Kanpur routes. Along with this, the frequency of buses will also be increased in the rural areas of the district as per the need. This will provide a lot of convenience to foreigners.

So this initiative will also increase the income of the corporation. During this period, there will be a ban on leave for drivers and conductors as well as employees. From the control room to other preparations, the depot officials are busy.

Regional Manager Amarnath Sahay says that reports have been sought from the depot on route charts of buses and duties of employees and other points. Who told that in addition to the buses operating on the Delhi route, around 40 buses will be run. Along with other long routes, there are preparations to increase the frequency of buses on rural routes also.
