State Bureau, Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday took stock of the arrangements made for the 359th Prakash Parv celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Inspected various places related to this. During the inspection, the Chief Minister inquired about accommodation and other facilities for the devotees coming on the occasion of Prakash Utsav. He said that every thing should be monitored at the microscopic level so that no devotee is inconvenienced.
The Chief Minister also saw the "Prakash Punj" built in Patna Sahib. During this, he observed the spiritual teachings, exhibits and arts of Sikhism displayed in the Multipurpose Light Center and Garden Project. The Chief Minister also inspected the watch tower under construction in front of Prakash Punj and directed to complete the work expeditiously.
He said that when this watch tower is built, devotees will be able to see the light beam in a better way from here. The watch tower complex is being made green and attractive. Along with the construction of the pond, arrangements for walking and sitting are being made here so that the devotees and local people coming here can take advantage of it.
The Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed OP Shah Community Hall at Malsalami in Patna City. During the inspection, the Chief Minister took detailed information about the facilities provided to the devotees. The Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions regarding cleanliness and security. The devotees present there greeted the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude to him.
After this the Chief Minister reached Kangan Ghat. Inspected the tent city built for the devotees at Kangan Ghat and took information about the arrangements there. Officials told the Chief Minister that multi-level parking will be constructed here.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the officials to pay special attention to the facilities of all the devotees coming during the Prakash Parv, so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience. This is an important place for Sikh devotees from all over the world. It is a matter of pride for the people of Bihar that Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj was born here. People are coming here in large numbers from outside, we have to take care that they leave here happy.
During the inspection, Water Resources cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Tourism Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Kumar Ravi, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna Division Commissioner Animesh Parashar, Patna District Magistrate Dr. Thyagarajan SM and other officials and people associated with the Prakash Parv organizing committee were present.
