Apart from the malls of Greater Noida West, Noida and Greater Noida, prostitution is also taking place in the guise of spa centers. This has also come to light in the case of 24 men and women caught by Noida Sector 49 police station from three spa centers on February 13.
The main operator, a resident of Ghaziabad, is still away from the police. On the other hand, cases of unethical prostitution have come to light in many such spa centers and hotels in Trans Hindon Zone of Ghaziabad.
Till a long time, prostitution was taking place under the guise of spa centers in many markets of Sector 49 police station area, but due to the strictness for a long time, the spa centers were closed. On Friday night, Anti Human Trafficking and Sector 49 police station arrested 24 men and women from three spa centers in Sector 50 and 51, indicating that illegal business is running again.
Initial police investigation has also revealed that illegal prostitution was going on for three-four months under the guise of spa centers at all the three places. The operator carrying out illegal activities under the guise of a spa center is still absconding. The police team is empty handed even after four days.
ACP III Rakesh Pratap Singh said that a case has been registered in this case and seven accused have been arrested and sent to jail. The main operator resident of Ghaziabad is being searched. Noida ACP I Praveen Kumar Singh is investigating this case.
Online booking by putting status on WhatsApp
If sources are to be believed, upon entering the spa center the girls were made to stand in a queue. After that the customer was made to perform immoral acts under the guise of spa. In lieu of this, Rs 2 to 10 thousand were charged. On the other hand, it has also been revealed that the girls were shown to knowledgeable customers by connecting them to the broadcast and posting statuses. On the request of an unknown customer, photos and rates were also sent. Booking was also being done online. During the entire deal, codewords were used.
Spas are still operating in many places
If reliable sources are to be believed, apart from Greater Noida West, unethical prostitution is taking place in many malls of Noida under the guise of spa centres. All this is being done in connivance with the local police. The reason behind the police not taking action is that the raiding operation is complicated. Many circle officers are also unaware about its SOP.
