Ramadan Start Date: First Roza Will Be Kept On 19th February, Ramadan Will Start In February After 31 Years

The first fast will be observed on 19th February

Zafar Hussain, Japla (Palamu). Ramadan, the holy month of worship of Allah, has started. After the sighting of the moon today, Ramadan will start from 20th February. Maulana Ahmed Ali Khan Razvi said that the moon was visible on Wednesday, 18 February. Taraweeh prayers will begin on this night and fasting will begin from Thursday, February 19. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated.

According to Islamic scholars, Ramadan comes about 10-11 days earlier every year. After about 31 years, Ramadan is arriving in the month of February. Due to fasting in February, the time between Sehri and Iftar will be relatively short, which will provide some physical comfort to the fasting people.

Month of mercy, forgiveness and salvation

Maulana Ahmed Ali Khan Razvi said that Ramadan is the month of mercy, forgiveness and salvation. It is obligatory for every adult Muslim to fast for 29 or 30 days in this month. It is a special blessing of Allah that He has given us this blessed month. He prayed that Allah blesses everyone with the blessings of Ramadan.

He told that Ramadan has more advantages than other months. The reward for the good deeds done in this month is increased manifold. Generally, the reward for good deeds is 10 times and for fulfilling one's duty, the reward is up to 70 times.

Even in 1995, Ramadan started in February.

In the year 1993, Ramadan started on 23 February, in 1994 on 12 February and in 1995 on 1 February. After this, Ramadan has started from 19th February.

According to experts, in the year 2030, Ramadan may occur twice in the same solar year. The first Ramadan will begin around 5 January 2030, while the second is likely to begin around 26 December 2030. Similarly, in the year 2063 also, a situation of Ramadan occurring twice in one solar year may arise.
