Digital Desk, New Delhi. Republic Day 2026 Special arrangements are being made for the people coming to watch the parade in Delhi on 26 January. Help desks are being set up at more than 100 places around the duty path.
Republic Day is celebrated like a festival every year in the capital Delhi. People come to watch the parade with full enthusiasm.
A huge contingent of 2,500 artistes is all set to perform this time on the duty path during the Republic Day Parade, the main theme of which is the 150th anniversary of 'Vande Mataram'. The broad theme of the demonstration will be 'Mantra of Freedom - Vande Mataram' and 'Mantra of Prosperity - Developed India'.
At the same time, Culture Ministry officials said that about 2,500 artistes will represent various dance forms of the country like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi and Manipuri.

Where will help desks be created?
Help desks will be set up at more than 100 places including Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Gate No. 14, Moti Lal Nehru Place Roundabout, Man Singh Chowk Roundabout, GPO Roundabout, Jaswant Singh Roundabout, Windsor Place Roundabout, Mandi House Roundabout, Teen Murti Roundabout, Crossing Danpath/ Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road.
For the first time, there will be QR code system for parking.
This time, vehicle owners will not face any problem in finding parking space around the duty path during the Republic Day celebrations and Beating Retreat ceremony. QR codes will make it much easier to find a parking spot.
For the first time, Delhi Police in collaboration with the Defense Ministry has launched a QR (Quick Response) code based parking system to park eight thousand vehicles at 22 designated parking spots. This is also being considered a better initiative from the security point of view so that the police can have information about every vehicle.
Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) DK Gupta said that the QR code facility will help passengers reach the parking closest to their designated seating areas. People will be able to walk from the parking lot to their seats.

Now every year such a facility will be started for the guests coming to watch the Republic Day celebrations and the Beating Retreat ceremony on 29th January, this will not cause any problem to the people. This facility will give real-time data without the help of any policeman.
