Communication partner, Jalandhar. The car of a family returning home from a wedding on Jalandhar to Phillaur highway hit the divider and the car crossed the railing. The car was damaged during the accident and the family had a narrow escape. Seeing the vehicle stuck between the railing, passersby informed the Road Safety Force team and the police team started investigating.
According to the information received, the people traveling in the car were going back home from a wedding ceremony in Phillaur, when the car reached near the Army Camp, the driver could not see clearly ahead due to the bright lights of the vehicle coming from the front, due to which the car collided with the divider. Women and children were traveling in the car during the incident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property in this incident but the car was damaged in the accident.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the road safety force reached the spot and after taking stock of the circumstances, the damaged car was shifted to the side. ASI Jaswinder Singh of Road Safety Force said that the people traveling in the car were returning from Balachaur side after attending Phillaur marriage ceremony and this accident happened while returning, when luck favored that there was no loss of life.
