Jagran correspondent. Faridkot. The local police station Sadar has arrested a person for firing in the air in the street of Mandwala village in the district. Police have also recovered one revolver and cartridges from him. In this regard, ASI Hardev Singh said that he along with the police team was present at the turn of village Mandwala on the National Highway during patrolling.
Meanwhile, they got information that Gurnam Singh alias Billa, son of Balveer Singh, resident of village Mandwala, was firing in the air from his revolver in the street. His family members also tried to convince him but he did not stop. Due to which there is an atmosphere of panic in the village and people's lives are in danger. Due to which he went to the village and caught the said person with one revolver of 32 bore, 4 cartridges and two empty cartridges. Police have registered a case against the accused and started further action.
