Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. NAAC-A Double Plus Ruhilkhand University is not showing seriousness regarding the examinations. On Wednesday, on the first day of the graduation examination, a major negligence came to light in the Physics paper, where the answers were published along with the questions. In such a situation, the situation became ridiculous, everyone from students to teachers raised questions on the style of preparing the paper. This feat of the university remained a topic of discussion.
In the colleges affiliated to the university, the examination of B.Sc. third semester Physics subject (Paper Code-40103) was conducted from 11 am to 1 pm. Two hours were given to solve the question paper of 75 marks. The paper had 10 very short answer questions of two marks each. In question (1-F) given on page number three, calculation of acceleration due to electric field was asked.
When the students started turning the pages, they found the answer to question (1-F) written on page number seven. Seeing this, the students lodged an objection with the teachers present in the examination hall. Teachers were also surprised to see the questions and answers in the paper. This information was sent to the university.
Questions on the investigation done after the question paper was made
The examination related work in the university is done under the supervision of Controller of Examinations Sanjeev Kumar Singh. In this, the controller of examinations is also responsible for maintaining the purity and confidentiality of the examinations. Teachers raised the question that "moderation" (checking of the question paper) was not done after making the question paper, if it was done then how did such a mistake happen? Whereas the paper of each subject is prepared under the supervision of experts.

Case-01, Questions out of syllabus: In December 2024, the examination of Botany-I question paper (code- 40405) was conducted for B.Sc fifth semester students. On its first page, the subject of Plant Physiology, Metabolism and Biochemistry of Batani was written. Instead of the fifth semester, questions from the subject of Plant Microbiology of the first semester were written in the paper, which were outside the syllabus of the students.
Case-02, Music questions asked in Mathematics examination: In January this year, the examination of Partial Differential Equations with Applications (Paper Code- 41171) subject was conducted for MA-MSc Mathematics third semester students. The students created a ruckus due to the inclusion of music topic in all the questions in the mathematics question paper. After this the new date of examination was announced.
The problems of the students will be solved in the examination centers where paper related problems have occurred. A detailed report will be asked from them. The expert committee will consider and resolve it.
