Storyteller Sadhvi Priyanka Shastri at Shri Shatchandi Mahayagya organized at Nandlalpur Chaiti Durga Temple complex in Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur.
Samvad Sutra, Kahalgaon (Bhagalpur). In the Kaliyuga full of materialism, devotion is the only path. Which paves the way to attain God by keeping knowledge and renunciation alive. Yagya of knowledge in the form of Bhagwat Katha is the only way to strengthen devotion. These things were said by story teller Sadhvi Priyanka Shastri while reading the story on the second day of Shri Shatchandi Mahayagya organized in Nandlalpur Chaiti Durga Temple complex.
Priyanka Shastri, while narrating the inspiring story of devotion, knowledge and renunciation, threw light in detail on the birth and conversation between King Parikshit and Sukhdev. She told that when Devarshi Narad ji reached Vrindavan, he found Bhakti Mata in old age, while her sons Gyan and Renunciation were lying in an unconscious state. The main reason for this was said to be the decline of religion in Kaliyuga and the changeability of time.
Throwing light on the solution to this crisis, Priyanka Shastri said that Sankadi sages told Narad ji that the yagya of knowledge in the form of Bhagwat Katha is the only way to strengthen devotion. According to the story, as soon as Bhakti Mata heard the story of Shrimad Bhagwat on the banks of Ganga, she became young again and started dancing and knowledge and renunciation also became active again. While narrating the essence of the story, Sadhvi Ji said that where the story of Shrimad Bhagwat is heard, devotion, knowledge and renunciation automatically reside there.
Lord Shri Narayan himself resides on the first day of Bhagwat Katha and bestows blessings to reside in the hearts of the devotees. The host couple Golan Singh welcomed the storyteller on the Katha stage. In Mahayagya, there was a crowd from morning till evening to circumambulate the Yagya Mandap. Sadhvi Priyanka Shastri explained the devotion, knowledge and renunciation. After this he said to listen to the story to strengthen the devotion.
