Communication partner, Jalandhar. In Prithvi Nagar, a woman committed suicide by hanging herself due to a domestic dispute. The deceased has been identified as Manpreet Kaur. According to the information received, the woman was married ten years ago.

The woman was troubled for some time due to the fight between husband and wife, but she did not express her problem to anyone. Due to this he committed suicide by hanging himself. The police of Ramamandi police station have taken the body into their custody and kept it in the civil hospital for post-mortem.

Deceased's mother Savran Kaur told that her sister's marriage took place ten years ago with brother-in-law Happy, a resident of Prithvi Nagar. Recently, she had alleged that after some time of marriage, her husband had started beating her, about which the daughter told her several times and every time a compromise was reached in the family.

At the same time, the sister told that last night her Manpreet called that she had been assaulted and that she should come and take her away. At 11.30 in the morning, he got a call that Manpreet had committed suicide by hanging himself in the room, after which when he reached the spot, he saw that people had gathered, about which he informed the police of the concerned police station.

Meanwhile, the deceased's uncle Jarnail Singh told that he had gone to work in the morning as usual. He got a call in the morning that Manpreet had committed suicide. She told that Manpreet's husband Happy often used to beat her, about which Manpreet had told her many times, but a compromise was reached after sitting down. He has given a complaint to the police in this regard.

He has appealed to the police to provide them justice and appropriate action should be taken. The police of Ramamandi police station reached the spot and took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of the civil hospital. Police say that the statements of the family are being recorded and appropriate action will be taken in the case.
