Salaries Of Two MOICs Stopped For Negligence In Health Services, DM Took Action In Review Meeting

Jagran correspondent, Aligarh. Instructions were given to stop the salaries of two Medical Superintendents (MOIC) for negligence in the health services of the district. The decision to take action was taken in the review meeting of the District Health Committee in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of DM Sanjeev Ranjan on Friday. The DM clarified that improvement in health services is the top priority. Its effect should be visible at the ground level also.

DM reviewed the functioning of DDU, District Women's Hospital and 100 Bed Hospital, Atrauli. While giving instructions to improve medical management, he said that all the officers will have to take this opportunity and improve the systems. During the review, the DM expressed displeasure over the decline in IPD, general surgeries and deliveries.

In Malkhan Singh District Hospital, there was a decrease of 435 in IPD, 977 in X-ray and 6,065 in pathology services as compared to last year. DM said that doctors and paramedical staff should work with a spirit of service. With this, the common man can get better treatment on time. In the review of the family planning programme, the DM expressed dissatisfaction when progress was recorded in only 2,925 cases against the target of 4,604. DM also directed to give priority to Ayushman Bharat scheme.

He stressed on getting Ayushman cards made for all eligible beneficiaries soon and maintaining transparency in claims and payments. To strengthen health services, it was decided to transfer one contractual staff nurse each from Gabhana, Akrabad and Iglas CHC to Jawan CHC.

Apart from this, instructions were given to start the campaign of giving Vitamin A supplements to children aged between nine months to 59 months by registering on the U-Win portal from December 31. CDO Yogendra Kumar, CMO Dr. Neeraj Tyagi were present on this occasion.
