A mad youth stabbed a passenger (inset - injured passenger)

Digital Desk, Ratlam. At around 1:30 am on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, a mad youth suddenly attacked a passenger coming from Neemuch with a knife in the Ratlam Railway Station premises. The young man injured in the attack somehow managed to save his life by running away, but the terror of the accused did not stop here. He also attacked an e-rickshaw and a car parked in the station premises with a knife.

Injured youth Sadiq (24), resident of Ramvatar Colony, Neemuch, had come to Ratlam by Bandra Terminus train. He was walking on foot from Platform 7 towards Platform 4 via the old goods warehouse bridge, when a young man coming from behind suddenly attacked him with a knife. Sadiq told that he had come to attend the wedding. After the incident, he ran to save his life and reached the hospital with the help of his family members.

The incident took place near GRP police station

This attack took place just 100 meters away from the GRP police station. Choudhary told that four days ago also a youth had attacked two youths with a knife at the same place. The continuous incidents have raised questions on the security arrangements of GRP and RPF.

The incident was captured in CCTV

It can be clearly seen in the CCTV footage that Sadiq was talking on the phone, when the young man who came from behind attacked him on the thigh of his left leg. After this, the accused was seen trying to scare other people and vehicles in the station premises and fled from the spot fearlessly.

GRP station in-charge Motiram Chaudhary said that on the basis of CCTV footage, the accused has been identified as Aman Borasi, resident of Javra Phatak. Preliminary investigation revealed that the attack was carried out without any dispute or reason. A case has been registered and the search for the accused is ongoing.
