Monica, who lives in Sector 21, said that she is a data entry operator in the PWD department on contract basis. She was married to Surindra Kumar of Kukrawali village of Fatehabad in the year 2019. The marriage went well for some time. After that he was repeatedly taunted. There was mental and physical harassment and constant demands for dowry.
Fed up with the harassment, she lodged a complaint at the women's police station, where a compromise was reached between the two. After the agreement, when she was delivered, the husband did not even come to the hospital. After some time, she came to Panchkula with the child.
As per the agreement, when she went to her in-laws' house on weekends, she was not allowed to enter the house. This happened to him for three consecutive weeks. Now he got a call from an unknown number. The caller told that Surindra had run away with his wife.
A case has also been registered against him in Satnali police station of Mahendragarh. At the same time, now on the complaint of a female employee of PWD, a case has been registered against him in Panchkula also.
