Jagran correspondent, Amroha. 15 years ago, the owner of the farm in the village who bought the land by getting it written on a stamp, deeded it in the name of another woman. As soon as the filing was rejected, the house built on the land was demolished and the woman's belongings were thrown on the road. Due to which the woman and her children have become homeless.
This is the whole matter
Pushpa Devi, resident of Paurara village of Hasanpur tehsil area, was married to Vivesh Kumar, resident of Niawali village of Sambhal district about 16 years ago. One year after marriage, Pushpa sold the land and house in her name belonging to her husband Vivesh Niawali and settled in Paurara.
The husband had purchased one bigha of land from a farmer of village Paurara by getting it written on a stamp to build a house in the village, which he was in possession of since then, but the husband died about 10 years ago.
It is alleged that some time ago the farmer had transferred the deed of land to another woman of the village. After the filing was rejected, the people who bought the land on Monday demolished the woman's house, threw her belongings on the roadside and took possession of the land.
The woman along with her 10-year-old son Ankul and eight-year-old daughter Naina have been evicted from their home due to the harsh winter weather. His household goods are lying on the roadside.
The victim woman has appealed to the police for justice. Police station in-charge Atveer Singh Chauhan says that investigation is being done in the matter of breaking into the woman's house and taking possession of it.
