Samvad Sutra, Jagran, Shergarh. DIG Ajay Kumar Sahni also reached Shergarh to investigate the robbery case with a bullion trader. Along with inspecting the incident site, he also talked to the victim and assured that the incident will be exposed soon. He asked the team to also work on gangs of old criminals. Apart from this, some suspects have been captured in CCTV near the jeweler's shop, but the jeweler is not recognizing them.
Subhash Rastogi, resident of Thakurdwara Mohalla of Shahi, runs a bullion shop in Chaudhary Market of Nagariya Sobarni village of Shergarh. On Monday evening he was returning home by bike after closing the shop. It is alleged that when he reached near the brick kiln in Kudka, six masked miscreants on two bikes surrounded him. When he did not stop the bike, the miscreants hit him due to which he fell.
It is alleged that the accused looted about eight lakh rupees from him, including gold and silver jewelery and Rs 27 thousand in cash. When he protested, the miscreants beat him and opened fire. An FIR was registered in this entire matter and the SSP has formed a team of SHO Shergarh, SOG and surveillance under the leadership of CO Baheri to uncover the incident.
On Tuesday the DIG also inspected the incident site. So far, in the police investigation, some suspects are seen around the bullion merchant's shop. When his photo was shown to Subhash, he did not recognize him. Police say that the incident will be exposed soon.
