Four people got burnt due to cylinder explosion in Mangolpuri.
Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. Four people, including a woman, got burnt when a small gas cylinder exploded while cooking in Mangolpuri area on Sunday afternoon. This information was given to the police and fire fighters. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the four injured to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri.
Where after first aid, the doctors referred 55 percent burnt Satendra (20), 55 percent burnt Sethuram (18) and 45 percent burnt Dheeraj (24) to another hospital. At the same time, the condition of Jyoti (22), who suffered five percent burns, is said to be stable. According to the police officer, initial investigation revealed that the family lives on rent on the second floor of a house. It is suspected that the cylinder burst after the fire due to leakage in the cylinder pipe or cylinder.
According to the police officer, at around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon, a PCR call was received about cylinder explosion and fire in the second floor of a house in L Block, Mangolpuri. Police reached the spot. Seeing a lot of smoke coming out of the house, the police tried to control the fire with the help of local people.
After this, firefighters reached the spot and completely controlled the fire within a few minutes. Initial investigation revealed that the family lives on rent on the second floor. The police is gathering information as to what was the reason behind the cylinder explosion.
