Jagran correspondent, Gurugram. Devotees were seen immersed in the devotion of Baba Khatu Shyam ji amidst the echo of name Shyam in Cyber City on Sunday. A wonderful confluence of devotion, devotion and faith was seen amidst the chants of Baba Shyam Hamare with the support of Hare. The occasion was the 31st grand march organized by MLA Mukesh Sharma. Thousands of Shyam devotees participated in it with enthusiasm and devotion.
This Mahayatra started from the residence of MLA Mukesh Sharma located in Sector-21, and proceeded towards the famous Khatu Dham of Rajasthan. This yatra will reach Baba Shyam's court on 13th February. Holding Baba Shyam's symbol in their hands, the devotees kept moving ahead dancing and singing with drums, hymns and chants.
As soon as the Mahayatra reached Sadar Bazar, the entire area was colored in the colors of devotion. Devotees were welcomed by showering flowers at various places along with helicopters. The decorated chariots of Baba Khatu Shyam, Mata Shitala and other deities remained the center of attraction during the yatra. For the convenience of the devotees, refreshments and medical arrangements were also made at various places along the yatra route.
MLA Mukesh Sharma said that this Padyatra is not just a religious journey, but a great festival of faith, service and social unity. He informed that during the Phalgun fair, a 24-hour service camp will be organized in Khatu Dham from 14th to 28th February, where Bhandara, rest, medical and other necessary facilities will be available. The city residents and Shyam lovers participated enthusiastically in this event.
