Kumar Gaurav, Ranchi. If everything goes well, then the day is not far when smart boards will be installed in all the government schools of the district and children will get the benefit of the modern education system.
This initiative has already been started and smart class has been started by installing smart board in GMS Booty. Mirae Asset Foundation is supporting this initiative.
Vinod Shankar, senior at Extramarks Education Foundation, says that in the first phase we have identified one school in Booti, one more in Madhukam and 12 schools under the block. After successfully starting smart classes at these places, a target has been set to cover the entire district in the second and third phase.
The education department is getting full support in this. The District Education Superintendent has inaugurated the smart class in GMS Buti.
Vinod Shankar said Jharkhand is a state which is full of potential, talent and aspirations. It is also true that many students in government schools, especially in semi-urban and rural areas, do not always have access to modern learning resources. Project Pahal is a step towards filling this gap, bringing quality digital education directly into government school classrooms.
District Education Superintendent Badal Raj said that these smart classrooms are for children. Use them to explore, ask questions, and dream without limits. Education has the power to change lives and a new beginning of that journey has begun.
Attendance will increase, number of dropped children will decrease
With this new initiative, while the attendance of children will increase in the government schools of the district, the number of dropout children will also decrease. These smart classrooms are in line with the school curriculum and the National Education Policy 2020, ensuring that Ranchi students get equal learning opportunities to students across the country.
GMS Booty Principal Tara Kumari said 5 smart class units have been installed in the school, creating an environment that supports both students and teachers.
Teachers are being empowered with digital tools to improve classroom teaching, while students are encouraged to become confident, independent learners. This initiative will contribute to better learning outcomes, increased attendance and lower dropout rates.
These smart classrooms will be used effectively so that children become a permanent part of the teaching learning process. Let us tell you that there is a plan to install digital boards in the government schools of the capital, the cost of which is estimated to be around Rs 3 lakh per school.
Development is being done on the lines of private schools
Government schools in the capital Ranchi are preparing to defeat private schools. A unique initiative has been taken in Ranchi to bring government school children to school. Breaking the old tradition of schools, smart classes are being created in government schools located in rural areas. Where children are connecting with modern education through 3D classes.
If we talk about government schools, then the picture that emerges shows the same pictures like notebook, book, pen, pencil, black board, but now the circumstances of government schools have changed, because now children are studying through smart classes.
In smart classes in government schools, children will be taught through 3D images through VR boxes. Let us tell you that under PMShri and other schemes, smart classrooms and digital boards are being installed in the government schools of Ranchi, due to which education is becoming modern in both rural and urban areas. Subjects like science are being taught through 3D technology and interactive flat panels, which are improving the understanding of the students.
In the first phase, 1 in Madhukam, 1 in Booti, 12 schools in Angada have been identified, after which there is a plan to start smart classes in government schools in all the blocks of the district. Expected support from the Education Department is also being received in this.
Through this initiative, classrooms are being transformed into interactive, technology-enabled learning spaces, where students can learn concepts visually, engage more actively and build a stronger foundation in their subjects.
